“Winter Solstice: A Winter Tale” is part of Chongqing Grand Theatre’s “Four Seasons of Folk Music” concert series. The concert uses the traditional Chinese orchestra to create a musical portrait of winter, combining the timbres of Chinese folk instruments with repertoire inspired by seasonal imagery and traditional Chinese culture.
