History

Septime Webre's The Wizard of Oz transforms L. Frank Baum's beloved classic into a magical ballet adventure. Follow Dorothy and her companions along the Yellow Brick Road as they journey through the Land of Oz, encountering wonder, danger, and friendship while discovering the courage, wisdom, and love that lie within them all.

Synopsis

Dorothy lives on a farm in Kansas with her Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and beloved dog Toto. When a powerful tornado sweeps across the prairie, Dorothy is carried away to the magical Land of Oz, where she accidentally defeats the Wicked Witch of the East upon her arrival.

Guided by Glinda the Good Witch, Dorothy sets out for Emerald City to seek help from the mysterious Wizard of Oz, who may know how she can return home. Along the Yellow Brick Road she befriends the Scarecrow, who believes he lacks a brain; the Tin Woodman, who longs for a heart; and the Cowardly Lion, who wishes for courage.

Together they encounter magical creatures, dangerous obstacles, and the evil Wicked Witch of the West, who seeks revenge against Dorothy. After many adventures, the friends finally reach Emerald City, where the Wizard agrees to help them if they can defeat the Witch.

Following a dramatic confrontation, Dorothy and her companions discover that the qualities they sought were already within them. At last, Dorothy learns the secret to returning home and realizes that the people she loves and the life she left behind are more precious than she ever imagined.

Her extraordinary journey through Oz becomes a lesson in friendship, bravery, self-confidence, and the enduring meaning of home.
