Mining Symphony Orchestra – Program 8 concludes the regular symphonic programs of the orchestra's acclaimed 2026 Summer Season with a powerful and colorful concert featuring masterpieces by Jean Sibelius, John Adams, and Igor Stravinsky. Performed by the internationally renowned Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería, the evening brings together brilliant orchestral writing, contemporary virtuosity, and vibrant musical storytelling under the direction of celebrated American composer and conductor John Adams.

The program opens with Sibelius' dramatic The Return of Lemminkäinen, followed by Adams' acclaimed Violin Concerto, performed by internationally renowned violinist Augustin Hadelich. The concert concludes with Stravinsky's spectacular ballet score The Firebird, one of the most celebrated orchestral works of the twentieth century, renowned for its dazzling orchestration and thrilling finale. Combining Nordic mythology, contemporary American music, and Russian ballet, Program 8 offers audiences an unforgettable symphonic experience.
