Rheingau Musik Festival 2026

The Rheingau Musik Festival 2026 invites music lovers to experience one of Europe’s most inspiring summer festivals, where outstanding performances unfold among vineyards, historic castles, monasteries, and elegant concert halls along the Rhine. Programme
Overview

A diverse musical piano program spanning various styles and eras

This evening, Joja Wendt, Sebastian Knauer, Axel Zwingenberger, and Martin Tingvall bring together four musicians, each with their own distinct pianistic language and long-established international reputation as outstanding representatives of their craft. The four first joined forces on stage in 2016 and are now embarking on a joint tour to celebrate their 10th anniversary. In their concerts, diverse musical backgrounds merge into an original program full of surprises: the classical virtuoso meets the boogie-woogie master, the jazz pianist leads the audience into the blues with richly colored harmonies. Each pianist is given their individual space, yet they also frequently come together in duos or eight-handed arrangements, creating an impressive concert experience brimming with musical color.
